Dr. Jennifer āJā Hamilton is a clinical psychologist by training and a lifelong explorer of self and identity. Working across the lifespan with clients as they cope with life transitions such as death or loss, family trauma, with chronic illnesses, for the past 20 years J has honed skills as a listener, holder of space, and expert in human development. J is passionate about being a creative, introspective conduit for the co-construction of personal growth, while providing a healing space with room for joy in the discovery. Through psychological assessment and individual therapy informed by cognitive behavioral techniques, growth and support for development are provided.
J's training and experience include Boston College, Boston University Medical Center, UMass Boston, Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Bradley Hospital/Warren Alpert Medical School, Milton Academy and other public and private schools and hospitals. Professional roles include researcher, evaluator, scientist-practioner, clinician, coach, and consultant. Personal roles include parent, partner, and multimedia artist.
